A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has surpassed one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
